We stayed in Bale during our trip to Istria and we ended up eating in this restaurant almost every night. The price/quality was outstanding and we enjoyed trying many of the different dishes. The waiter, Marko, was helpful and friendly and he made time for us each evening. Highlights from the menu include the whole grilled sea bass, the mixed grilled meats and the turkey pljeskavica. They also serve beer from a local microbrewery called Kampanjola that has a really excellent pale ale.

Very good food for a reasonable price. We had 2 kinds of squid (grilled and fried) plus a plate of mixed meats (cevapcici, pljeskavica, etc.) and a tomato salad. It was enough for a family of four and very tasty. Very nice, English-speaking waitress. Last but not least: they serve food shortly (but still) before noon (from 11.30am) unlike the other restaurants around where we heard "drinks only".

Amazing, we're sorry we didn't find it earlier in our stay in Bale! Everything is so tasty, but make sure to try their squid risotto and pasta with truffles. The price to quality ratio is perfect, and the staff is so welcoming and warm!

Excellent restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very nice in the heart of Bale. Marco makes sure you don't miss anything and takes you through all the dishes. Excellent place!

Dado is our favourite restaurant in Bale. Marco provides a perfect and friendly service and the food is excellent. We first came here last year and returned several times this year. As a lot of people seem to love this restaurant too it is mandatory to reserve a table :-)

Welcoming staff, taking time for each guest coming into the restaurant combined with Croatian ( Istrian) chillness and a humour. Food is amazing, price-performance/quality is on top. Dado used to be and still is a big "name" nowadays when Bale is attracting more and more people. Keep on going, pozdrav stol Hrvoje iz Slovenije 9.9/10

Fantastic place! Very nice personnel providing excellent service, great food and drinks, all perfect. And it's dog friendly! I highly recommend this place over any other restaurant in the town.
